This is a great book to begin learning JavaScript. It could be the basis for learning to program web pages to do things, program Amazon Alexa using JavaScript, contribute to open source adventures like jQuery on github which is written using JavaScript. While I don't recall reading this book, I'm a professional programmer and have read other Sam's Teach yourself JavaScript books as well as many others, and they are on point to get you started quickly! You're getting the actual item pictured. Make an offer! This is from my personal collection; I am not a book store. I just need some extra space on the shelf and am sacrificing some good titles to add new ones. Please, go ahead and buy and I'll ship it right out.
